About

Cley Harbour is managed by a Community Committee which acts to improve and maintain the quay and wider harbour to the benefit of the parish and visitors, whilst always having concern for our place in a special natural environment. Having reinstated the quay and seen it become a thriving part of the village, the Committee is now ensuring this part of the River Glaven remains accessible for all who would like access. This involves further de-silting of the channel in 2024 to maintain safe passage and to repair eroding banks.  Most recently a canoe rack was installed with steps to make access to the channel easier and safer for rowers and paddle boarders.
